Cookie Policy
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. This page lists exactly which ones guarda.net sets, why we need them, and how to withdraw your consent.
Last updated: August 2026
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the service to work at all, so they are set without consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive.
- Supabase auth session (local storage / cookie) — keeps you signed in to your dashboard and protects API key management. Cleared when you sign out.
- guarda_consent — remembers the cookie choice you made on the banner so we do not ask again. Lifetime: 12 months.
- Anti-abuse counters — anonymous daily request counters used to enforce free and paid plan limits. No IP address you look up is ever stored.
Preference cookies
- guarda_lang — stores the language you selected in the site header (for example
deorja) so that your next visit, the dashboard and every internal redirect open in that same language. Lifetime: 12 months. It contains only a two-letter language code, no personal data.
Analytics cookies (optional)
Only loaded if you press Accept all. They tell us which pages and documentation people actually use, in aggregate.
- Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager — aggregated page views and referrers. Lifetime: up to 24 months.
- Plausible — cookieless, privacy-friendly page statistics.
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymised interaction statistics.
If you choose Essential only, none of these scripts are downloaded or executed.
What we never do
- No advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies.
- No selling or sharing of personal data with data brokers.
- No storing of the IP addresses you check, or their lookup results.
Changing or withdrawing consent
You can change your choice at any time here, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings. Withdrawing consent takes effect on the next page load.
More detail on the personal data we process is in our Privacy Policy. Questions: info@guarda.net.
